It’s not changed much in the last 40 years, Findhorn. The beautiful bay with its rip currents, Culbin Forest, a couple of good café-pubs, the Foundation; there is a storm brewing about beach huts but the tide still goes out and the shingle gets smoother, just like it always did.
Writing hasn’t changed much either. Hand me a Whatsapp message or a piece of parchment, and I’ll show you that there’s an essence to good writing worth its weight in gold.
Well, the flip side to good writing is encouraging your busy potential customers to click on your website and BOOM, they find spelling mistakes or WORSE, very dull content. And your potential clients are no more; life is too short.
As a business owner, though, you won’t receive praise for good writing either; instead your clients will simply read, enjoy the experience and sign up.
Seek out some open and honest feedback on your website content. I’m willing to combine two timeless activities: a meet up in unchanging Findhorn with a chat about timeless, good writing for your website. Happy days.
Your message, crafted into words that sell. It’s time to shine.
